Web Content Writer
Greetings
When it comes to the written word, I am an expert. My voice is clear, succinct, and memorable. I have been writing blogs, marketing material, and other content for a number of years for numerous publications both in print and online, and I take pride in effective communication. My work with clients helped expand their online audience and brand presence. I hope this outline shows you my vision and commitment to effective copy.
Expectations
I have been writing about the different industries for almost around 5 plus years. My work has appeared in publications. I have a strong sense of SEO and how to structure blog posts so they receive the utmost attention in online searches.
Goals
I will write 5 blog posts and 5 Social Media Posts five days a week, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each will be between 400- 800 words, and include relevant SEO tags and suggested art and where to source it. The content will focus on social media and what is most relevant to the industry on a daily basis. The aggregation will be a part of the process, but original content will also be needed. To that end, forming relationships with key players in the industry is a must.
Blog posts will use language appropriate to the audience while being free of typos and others mistakes, and be properly attributed when necessary. All blogs must be pre-approved by an in-house editor before work can begin.
Delivery
I will be expected to adhere to the following schedule on the daily basis and be available for questions and edits throughout the day, ending at 5 PM.
Time And Task
11 AM Blog pitches sent to the editor for approval
11:30 AM Blogs approved or changed at the behest of the editor
12 PM First of two daily blogs filed for posting
1:30 PM Approval of changes to the second blog, if needed
4 PM Second of two daily blogs filed for posting
Payment
I request a flat rate of $150 per week for 6 blog posts. Invoices will be filed per the schedule already established by the Client Company. If payments are not received by the 15th of each month, I reserve the right to suspend work until the issue is settled. The Client Company will decide how payments are received, i.e. online or through bank transfer.
Agreement
Once this proposal is agreed upon by both parties, work will commence with an open end date to be decided by The Client Company. I will be given two weeks’ notice of the contract end date, and any outstanding payments must be made within 30 days of termination. The agreement will be sent to both of us to sign and keep as a record.
